With over three decades of experience in hospitality, Anthony has a wealth of knowledge in knowing what works and what doesn’t in this exciting and challenging industry.

He has worked in some of Britain’s most popular regional attractions including: the National Media Museum (Bradford); Nostell Priory (National Trust, Wakefield); The Science Museum (London); The Sage Gateshead (Tyne & Wear); and John Smiths Stadium (Huddersfield) to name but a few.

Events are a significant part of his impressive portfolio. From state occasions and large-scale concerts to intimate gatherings and networking events, Anthony’s expertise has been well-honed in many different contexts from hotels to museums. His particular skill? Attention to detail.

From looking after royal guests and ministers at the opening of the National Assembly of Wales in Cardiff, to media and sports personalities at the Six Nations Championship in Murrayfield, all customers are treated with respect with the ultimate goal of providing an excellent customer experience.

An authentic and compassionate leader, he is committed to developing and supporting a wide range of catering and hospitality staff in these very challenging times for the industry.

Anthony firmly believes that it is key that multiple factors are taken into account to protect your business. Maintaining standards while controlling costs is a fundamental issue. Recruitment and retention of staff will remain a challenge looking forward.  Ensuring staff are trained in costings, as well as understanding the importance of the customer are high priorities.

The customer remains at the forefront of everything that he does, and processes such as joint menu development are a pivotal example of this ethos. Being aware of seasonality, provenance, sustainability, affordability, and cost are core components of paving the way for a successful customer journey.
